Terms & Conditions


By accepting professional cleaning service appointment and agreeing to a service provided by My Tailored Cleaning, the client accepts the general terms and conditions set out below by My Tailored Cleaning. No additional representations or statements, whether oral or written, shall be binding on the parties. These terms and conditions, along with our email/letter of confirmation and our cleaning schedule, form the whole agreement between the parties. The other terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect if any portion of this Agreement is determined to be defective or unenforceable for any reason. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions regarding any part of these terms and conditions. Your legal rights are not compromised. We will give you written notice if the terms and conditions change.
For all repeat customers, we provide a 24-hour, 100% satisfaction guarantee (i.e. weekly, biweekly, etc.). Just give us a call within 24 hours if you’re unhappy with any part of your house and we’ll come back right away to finish the job for free. If a reclean is not done, no reimbursements will be given.
To cancel a service, give 48 hours’ notice. Any of your cleanings can be postponed, skipped, or canceled. For any of these activities, we do require a 48-hour notice. In the event that the cleaner is unable to complete the cleaning, you will be responsible for paying 65% of the cleaning fee if less than 48 hours’ notice is given.
Our policy is “48-hours Hold / Charge credit card.” On the day of the cleaning, full payment is required. All services are paid at the time of cleaning, and we accept all credit cards for your convenience. Additionally, cancellations will result in a credit card charge. There are no payments made directly to the cleaners; we only take card payments.
We will clean your house, no matter how long it takes. The number of service hours displayed on our system is an estimate, not a precise count. The service duration may occasionally be longer or shorter depending on your lifestyle.
Only the booking package selected can be guaranteed on the day of the cleaning; upgrades are available based on availability.
Please plan arrival within a two-hour window. We will notify you if we are going to be more than 30 minutes early or late.
Cleaning times are determined by the details you gave regarding the size and condition of your home because we don’t provide in-home estimates. I certify that the size and condition of the aforementioned property/home are accurately reflected in my reservation. The right to adjust prices to reflect any additional expenses or requests for additional services during cleaning is reserved by My Tailored Cleaning (We will discuss extras prior to approval).
My Tailored Cleaning reserves the right to reject any job that we consider overwhelming or generic clutter clean up.
What We don’t clean? Cleaning Bio-Hazards (Mold, Blood, Bodily, Fluids), Cleaning Cat Litter Box and On Floor, Cleaning Insects, Rodents, Couches Leather Cleaning,  Putting Away Dishes, Exterior windows, Carpet cleaning, Animal waste, Cleaning interior walls, Rust removal / Rust cleaning, Industrial cleaning, Lifting of heavy items, Surfaces of arms reach, High ceiling fans, Clutter Cleanup or Hoarding Cleanup, Clean Chandeliers, Glass Lamps, Clean TV’s and Computer Monitors Not Provided.
There are no penalties or fees for canceling your service outside of the 48-hour window.
I am aware that bringing any claims regarding the service after we have left the property is not acceptable, and that no refunds, credits, or further services will be given before receiving a reclean.
Our workers are given instructions on how to adhere to the cleaning’s criteria. Please get in touch with our office at least one working day in advance if you need additional services so that we can schedule them. Changes in fees might result from changes in scheduling.
Please be aware that we have the right to charge for additional time spent in your home if interruptions prevent the professional house cleaners from working as intended. Pets, outsiders, or contractors interfering with the professional home cleaners’ work are all examples of distractions.
Items that are not properly fastened or that have been damaged before cleaning are not covered by our liability policy. (For instance, bulky portraits dangling from nails or furniture dents from before we cleaned.) Furthermore, we disclaim any responsibility for harm or loss brought on by the customer’s misconduct.
Professional home cleaners employed by My Tailored Cleaning have verbally agreed in writing not to take direct employment from any of its clients. This contract is in full force and effect both while the professional home cleaners are engaged by My Tailored Cleaning and for a year following the conclusion of their employment. Due to this, we kindly request that you only hire a professional house cleaning via My Tailored Cleaning and refrain from directly contacting them.
The customer consents to alert My Tailored Cleaning if someone living in the home is thought to have an infectious disease. At least 24 hours before the intended visit, but as soon as feasible, this communication is required. In certain situations, My Tailored Cleaning retains the right to cancel cleans.
If your house has a security system, make sure you let us know the code to the door or have the system deactivated.
Plans are based on the typical cleaning time. My Tailored Cleaning retains the right to charge for additional time if the house is not found to be in “average” condition and it takes more than one hour to clean.
Our goal is to make sure your house is spotless. As a result, you only pay for the service you receive; it is not determined by how much time your cleaning crew spends at your house. The cleanliness of your home should be our team’s primary concern rather than how many hours they put in. Some housecleaners might take more time than usual, while others might take less time. Your house will shine either way.
