How Do I Book With My Tailored Cleaning?
Choose your tailored cleaning service based on your home or property’s needs, pick the date that works best for you, either one time or recurring, and voila you’re all set!
Will You Clean The Outside Of My Home?
Unfortunately, we cannot, because our insurance only covers cleaners who are working inside the home we are unable to clean the exterior.
Am I Allowed To Skip A Cleaning?
Yes! We know that sometimes life happens and you don’t need your regularly scheduled cleaning. If you’re out of town, under the weather, or simply don’t feel you need cleaning, you can opt to skip a week’s cleaning at no cost. You won’t be charged for skipping a cleaning, as long as you do it within the 48-hour window. Your fee can be rolled over to your next cleaning service with no penalty!
What Are Your Hours Of Operation?

Cleaners will arrive between 08AM-07PM. Remember the time of the job while booking.

Do I Have To Be Home When The Cleaners Come?
Absolutely not! Many of our clients choose to schedule services for when they are out or at work. This lets them come home to a freshly cleaned space. However, if it’s your first time using My Tailored Cleaning, we do suggest you be there to give directions and show the clean team expert around the space.
Can I Have The Same Cleaner Every Week?
Yes, if you love your cleaner you can request to have them each week. Of course, it’s important to know that life happens and cleaners do sometimes have sick days and personal things come but as much as possible we’ll work to place them with you whenever possible.
What Day Is My Clean?

Please view your  account page, look under “Subscription” to see your next scheduled cleaning. Please remember if that day doesn’t work for you, you can always change it.

Will I Be Charged If I Cancel?

If you need to cancel a cleaning service, we totally understand! If you cancel at least 48 hours before your service so that you can receive a full refund!

If you cancel within 48 hours prior to your cleaning date/time will be charged a 65% of the cleaning fee.
We charge this fee as a means to compensate the cleaner team for the last minute cancellation. Rescheduling an appointment within 48 hours also constitutes a cancellation.

How Do I Update Billing?

You’ll want to head to your account page, and under settings select billing. In that section it’ll allow you to update billing, address of clean, and your current subscription.

How do I pay?

We only accept debit or credit card payment. No payment by cash or check. All major cards such as American Express, Discovery, MasterCard, Visa.

Am I Charged Upon Booking?

A hold is put on the amount 48 hours before the cleaning to verify that the card is valid. Payment for the cleaning occurs at 9pm ET time at the end of the day of your cleaning.

Should I give the cleaner a tip?

100% of the tip amount goes to cleaners. Feel free to give that to them directly cash or you can add it on the booking by logging into your account.

Which Service Should I Choose If I’m A First Time Client?

My Tailored Cleaning recommends choosing a deep clean for first-time clients, this allows our experienced team of cleaners to get the area fully cleaned so that it can be maintained. Following a deep cleaning, many clients then switch to regular cleaning.

What’s The Difference Between A Regular Clean and A Deep Clean?

A Regular Clean Includes cleaning of the:

Kitchen (sink, countertops, stove top, cabinets), Bathroom (toilet, shower, sink, drain, bathtub/shower, handles, and drain), Bedroom (shelving, nightstand, bed frame, sheets), Mopping and/or vacuuming of all floors, All window sills.


A Deep Clean Includes the cleaning of:

All regular clean services +, Light Switches, polishing of faucets and fixtures, detailed dusting, baseboard, ceiling fans, and an additional hour spent on specific areas that need attention. Organization can be added, reach out when you book if you’d like that service included.

What If My Cleaner Finished Before My Scheduled Time Is Up?
Our cleaners will always be able to find more to do, and more to clean because we want our clients to receive the full service for the duration of the time they paid for. If a cleaner leaves early for any reason, be sure to reach out to My Tailored Cleaning so we can rectify the situation.
What Is Included In A Move Out Or Move In Cleaning?

When booking a Move Out or Move In clean, you can expect an all inclusive service. This is our most detailed package and includes 4 of the 7 extra services we offer which you can add to any level of service. These extras include: Inside oven, inside fridge, inside cabinets, and inside all windows. This clean is intended to turn the home someone once lived in, into its original state and ready for new homeowners.
